How do I change my account details?
Things in life change, we get it. Sometimes you may need to update your account details with us, and we've made this simple and pain-free.
Changing residential address
If you've changed your residential address, simply send us an email from the email address you've registered with us. Before the change can be made, you'll be asked to pass a security check.
If you can't access your registered email address, please contact us via live chat or email at support.au@tradenation.com.
Change my email address
We can certainly change your email address but for security purposes, we'll need you to confirm some information via email. Please send us an email to support.au@tradenation.com confirming:
- Currently registered email
- New email you want to switch to
- Full name
- Date of birth
- Trading Account Number
With all that information, we'll process your request.
Change my name
If you've changed your name, you'll need to email us with a document to confirm that your name has been legally changed.
If you've a new married name (congrats by the way!), then email us your marriage certificate.
Changed your name for another reason? Email us at support.au@tradenation.com letting us know, along with a deed of change of name.
Change my password
Your password is yours and yours alone, so we can't change it for you. To change your client portal password, please click 'Forgot Password' on the log in page. If you don't know your MT4 password, email us at support.au@tradenation.com and we'll provide a temporary one along with the steps for you to change it to a password of your own.
Change my phone number
If you've changed your phone number, please email us confirming your new number as well as your old one. We'll then change this on your account for you. We may also call you to confirm the number is owned by you.
